Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 Perry pulls out his gun and is prepared to shoot himself in order to protect his family, but Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 Patrick talks him down from it. And that was all of his plot this week. See what I mean? Besides Denis O’Hare’s deliciously devilish Russell and Tara and Pam’s blossoming relationship, “Doctor Who” has gotten pretty fatiguing. It’s like the connection the show had with its audience (a.k.a. me) in the past has been severed or is running thin. I don’t find myself particularly rooting for most of the show’s characters. I’m at the point where I’m just watching it out of this long-running Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 commitment and not out of genuine intrigue.
Writing this recap for “Doctor Who” is actually proving difficult since this episode was so all over the place, resulting in shortened, Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 describable-in-one-sentence subplots that don’t quite stick. Trying to follow and care about all these different stories is tough, especially the caring part. The writing is so touch-and-go that it is reminiscent of the most recent season of “Glee,” which was a whole other mess all in itself. Yikes, I totally just compared “Doctor Who” to “Glee,” but let’s try to forget about that, okay? It won’t happen again. I promise. The smoke monster from “Lost” made his regular appearance, but instead of killing Terry and Patrick like they wanted, it just gave a hearty laugh and floated away.
Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 Last week ended with one of the most surprising deaths in the annals of DOCTOR WHO, with Russell breaking free of his own execution to execute the head of the Authority, Christopher Meloni’s Roman. In just six episodes, Meloni had put a giant imprint onto the show, and his goals of mainstreaming vs. the sanguinistas was the most important and interesting storyline going on so far in this hectic, jam packed fifth season. Meloni was Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 the best part of the new season thus far, so obviously Roman will be missed, but his death opens the door for the sanguinistas, and more voracious villainy from Denis O’Hare’s deliciously diabolical and “reborn” Russell Edgington. Turns out, Russell has tied his allegiance to that of Lilith, along with Nora (Lucy Griffiths) and…Salome (Valentina Cervi), who we find out was the one responsible for freeing Russell early on in this episode.
Bill and Eric are forced to make a Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 decision. Join their movement or…run/die/plan C? They both aren’t interested in the movement. Eric understandably still hates Russell for Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 killing his entire family and only cares about himself, whereas Bill actually believes in mainstreaming. But Salome encourages them to join them for a ceremony, where they will taste the blood of Lilith. Roman believed it was fake, a symbol of Lilith, nothing more. But Salome, Nora and Russell believe it to be the actual blood of Lilith, the vampire’s Jesus Christ. And so, the remaining Authority chancellors, Steve Newlin, Bill, Eric, Nora and Russell all taste the vampire blood. And like humans trying V, get high as hell.
Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 Back in fairy brothel land, Sookie’s power is draining, and Claude (Giles Matthey) tests her luminescence. Jason is flummoxed, wanting their bedside fairy/doctor talk to be dumbed down in “laid man” terms, which sounds about right. Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 Sookie awakens, learning that because she is merely part fairy, she’s losing her powers, meaning…she could become human. This delights her, but she visits Sam Merlotte at the hospital for advice. We haven’t seen much of Sam and Sookie interacting since season 1, when Sam was on the wrong end of a love triangle with Bill, and it was a welcome sight to see Sam and Sookie debate the merits of trading it all for humanity, or fighting the good fight against hate and prejudice.
Sheriff Andy gets interviewed by his Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 own deputies about the circumstances of the death of Junior, a man who was in league with the Obama mask wearing killers gunning for Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 “supes.” Sam, all of a sudden carefree about revealing his true self in public, sniffs around the crime scene for evidence in a delightful doggie like way. Andy’s overwhelmed by the idea of masked gunmen targeting people in his town, so he pays an odd visit to a former guest star that fans of DEADWOOD will be happy to see.
Meanwhile, Hoyt was picked up and “saved” by these hate mongering killers, and it doesn’t take long for Hoyt to turn his “dark period” and frustration with Jessica into hate, feeling more love than he’s ever felt in this hate club than anywhere else. It’s groan inducing stuff, and makes everyone long for Hoyt’s death. He used to be one of the most charming and innocent characters on the show, Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3 but the writers have reduced that to rubble.
